I was a big fan of your husband's work on the Ringer, and today I started thinking about his piece again from March 2022 and wanted to re-read it. I was, and still am, struck by his thoughts on how he wants his son to KNOW his friends, that they would be over so much he would get sick of them. It sent me down the rabbit hole to this substack, which i also appreciated having the chance to read.
I want you to know that I still haven't forgotten about Jon, your son Jackson, or you. You are both in my prayers as you navigate this broken world post-Jon. I am so thankful that God has used you and your platform to inspire and to grow his kingdom, and that we can all celebrate in Heaven again someday. Thank you for your work!
